Hearing protection is designed to protect people from harmful noise levels by reducing the sounds to such an extent that they are no longer harmful to us.
Noise is a part of many jobs, which is why hearing protection is standard equipment. However, it's also important to protect your hearing in everyday life, as most people are exposed to high levels of noise, both at loud events and in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
There are different types of hearing protection available. The key factor here is the position of the hearing protection in relation to the ear.
Over-ear
When we talk about over-ear hearing protection, we're referring to earmuffs. The earmuffs enclose the outside of the ears, preventing sound from penetrating. The ears are thus completely covered. There are also different subcategories depending on where the earmuffs are attached.
Our over-ear hearing protection includes our Kiddies for children, our Mini+ for babies, and our Work+ for adults. While the Kiddies and Work+ have a headband, the Mini+ has a soft elastic band.

In-ear
In-ear hearing protection is a type of hearing protection that sits inside the ear. This leaves the ear exposed and the hearing protection is almost invisible, as it sits in the ear canal.
Our in-ear earplugs include our Strong+ , Music+ , Women+ and Sleep+ , each of which features an innovative filter to effectively reduce noise.

Pre-ear
In-ear hearing protection means that the hearing protection does not sit directly in the ear canal, but it also does not enclose the ear. The ear canal is sealed from the outside. With this type of hearing protection, it is very important that it is not pushed completely into the ear canal.
Our Soft+ earplugs are one of our in-ear hearing protection options. This is a silicone compound that is pressed onto the outside of the ear and can be molded to fit your ear perfectly.
